The moment when they saw each other, exchanging surprised glances, they ran, as fast as they could and embraced each other.
He started to tear up, "I thought I'll never see you again." He mumbled as he buried his face into the side of her neck.
She, on the other hand, was lost of words. What if he knew the truth? She knew how broken he was when she left; she knew he would always lock himself into his room and sob silently.
He separated the hug. Only to see her deep in thought.
"I missed you." He said, caressing her shoulders with his hands, radiating warmth. He was then surprised how icy her arms felt.
"I missed you more." She tried her best to pull off a smile, looking into his emerald eyes, which she has fallen so hard for.
"Shall we dance?" he asked, recognizing the soft and comforting music in the background. He then lifted his right hand, looking into her eyes.
She was somehow surprised but still, she placed her left hand into his grasp. He immediately pulled her in, placing his free hand on her small back, as they swayed to the music in sync. She took the opportunity to inhale his scent, reminiscing the familiar smell.
Their eyes locked, looking at each other with admiration and love.
He then started to lean in, moving his left hand towards her chin, and lightly pushed her chin upwards.
She knew exactly what he wanted to do. She found herself slowly closing her eyes, leaning herself towards him.
But before everything could happen, her eyes shot wide open, suddenly remembering that this was all surreal, "Stop." she demanded, struggling herself free from his embrace.
He looked at her, confused. Doubts run wild through his mind. Does she not love me anymore? "W-we can't. We just can't." she looked away, tears threatening to spill out any second as she rubbed her right arm with her left hand.
"Why?" he simply asked.
She swallowed hard, not wanting to tell him the truth, because she too, never want this moment to end.
"You don't belong here." she whispered.

We Run
"Bye mom!" i waved my mom goodbye after i got off the car.
"Bye honey, don't he nervous okay?" she smiled at me with both of her hands still on the steering wheel.
I nodded as i closed the passenger door and my mom drove away.
I nodded as i closed the passenger door and my mom drove away.
I made my way up the staircase and was greeted with a dark brown door with a see through glass on the top part of it, consuming almost half of the door.
The receptionist immediately recognized me, with a smile.
I slightly dusted my shirt, hoping that i looked somewhat neat and pushed the door open.
Time passed rather quickly and it was time for lunch. I swear i was so hungry that i could swallow a buffalo. I hurried down the staircase and turned to my right, knowing there was a restaurant located near. When i was almost there, i saw a kid.
A kid who looked like he was around 10 or maybe 12. He was seated on the side of the road with a red paper cup in hand, shaking it, seemingly asking for some small changes or coins.
I stopped my track and took a better look at him, he didn't look like those typical beggars. With worn out clothes or dirty faces. He looked very clean, with fresh clothes and comfortable shoes. I walked over and squated down, so that our eyes met.
"Where are your parents?" i asked, knowing that it was not okay leaving your 12 year old child beside the road.
He gave me an empty laugh and said, "My dad is busy. But he will be back."
I looked at him with my brows furrowed.
"Are you hungry then?" i asked again, as i noticed that there wasn't much money in his red paper cup. Enough to buy a piece of bread, but not enough for a meal.
He pursed his lips and nodded, looking down at his shoes.
I then marched towards the restaurant, took away some chinese noodles and walked back to the kid.
"Here," i hand him the noodles. His eyes shone so bright, like as if he hadn't seen food before.
Without hesitation, he reached over and gobbled down the noodles. I smiled, taking a seat beside him as i watched him finish up his food.
"I feel so full." he blurted after finishing up.
He then looked over at my direction, noticing that i was looking at him.
"Thank you." he mumbled softly, so soft that it almost came out as a whisper.
Slowly, it had become a habit. I would always have lunch with this little kid everyday. I would share stories, tell him whats going on. He would only keep quite, nodding and agreeing to my thoughts and statements. Well he does laugh at my jokes sometimes. I tried searching for him after work, but whenever i reached the spot that he's always at during lunch, he wouldn't be there. I'm worried, I'm not going to lie. There were so many questions that i wanted to ask him but he was so small, so young. The questions just didn't came out of my mouth.
I remembered asking him this question during lunch break one day,
"What would you like to do? Like what is your dream?"
He looked up to the sky and blinked several times due to the sun light.
"Run." He mumbled.
"Run? Are you a good runner?"
"No, but i would love to be." he sighed, shifting his vision towards me.
Realization hit me, the emotions that he was displaying through his hazel eyes, was a mystery.
Was it sadness?
Pain?
Or was it hope?
I just couldn't figure it out. And because of that, i let the topic slide. I didn't want to push it further.
Days passed by, as i noticed he was getting thinner. I tried questioning him, whether his father would feed him and so, but he never really gave me an answer. I thought about asking him about his mother, and i let it slide away too, since he never once mentioned about his mother.
Bruises would appear once in a while when i see him during lunch. Sometimes his cheek will be swollen.
Sometimes he has scratches on his knuckles. And sometimes he would wince in pain when he tried to walk.
Questioning him was unsuccessful of course. He would never tell me what really happened.
One day i was able to leave my workplace early because of some sort of emergency my boss had. I was very excited of the fact that i could go home and rest early. An idea popped up in my mind, as i walked towards our meeting place during lunch.
I was greeted by a loud roar, a sound of a man yelling. I put my steps on halt and tiptoed towards the meeting
place.
There was a man, leaning against a white van, holding a red cup that seemed so familiar. Standing opposite to the man, with his head down, was the kid, who i always meet during lunch. I furrowed my brows, trying to understand what is currently happening.
"This is all you got?!" he yelled again, throwing the red paper cup towards the kid.
The kid whimpered, as some of the coins in the paper cup went in contact with his face.
The man then stood up straight and started to hit the kid, cursing.
I stood there, surprised. No, shocked.
The kid was so defenseless, he tried to block the man's fist with his small hands. Of course, that didn't work.
I curled my hands into fists so tight i swear my knuckles went white. I ran towards the man and pushed him down with all my might. The man fell towards the ground and groaned in pain.
I quickly reached out for the kid, pulling him into a tight embrace. I could feel his tears wetting my clothes.
I then separated the hug and looked him in the eye, "It's time to show me how good of a runner you can be."
With that, we did what we could, we did what we had to.
We ran.

The Tale Of The Flower Crown Princess.
Hey guys! Sorry for updating so late. Here's a short story that I wrote for my Junior for her birthday xD I really hope she likes it. and there ya go! My first try attempting a fairytale story.
We were all standing in a line, under the blue crystal chandelier. I bit my bottom lip, hoping Garnelle wouldn't blame me for wearing shorts today. I silently groaned, looking over at the other girls.
Kienna was wearing a long maroon coloured silk dress, matching her slightly tanned skin. Standing beside Kienna was Holly, her hair was tied neatly into a high bun, as a mustard colour knee length dress fit her slim and petite figure. Irene, was next to Holly, her bright blue eyes matched her blonde hair, wearing a purple dress with a bit of a floral pattern on the hem of her midlength dress.
I then looked back at myself, I was wearing a black tee which had funny words printed on it, along with a white short. Holly and Irene started at me, giving me a feeling that they weren't very fond of my existence. I sighed, when I felt Kienna lightly tapped my shoulder, "It's gonna be alright." she whispered.
We were then interrupted as the giant wooden door in front of us cracked open.
All four of us quickly stood up straight, some dusting their dresses, while I looked down, hoping that Garnelle would spare me.
Garnelle gracefully walked towards us, with a yellow orange flower crown on her head. She was chosen by Prince Adam, the 23rd Prince of Vienna as the Princess of Vienna. Garnelle was extraordinarily pretty. She had those dark green orbs that even I couldn't help but adore.

"Girls." She spoke as she gave us a light bow.
"Princess Garnelle." The four of us said, bowing back towards Garnelle.
"As you are all aware, one among four of you, will be chosen, as the 24th Vienna Princess this Sunday." She cleared her throat when our eyes met. I quickly blinked as I shift my sight towards the crystal floor.
"I expect all four of you dressed, in your best, this Sunday after 6 and gather right as this spot." Garnelle pulled lightly on the hem of my shirt, making me startled by surprise.
"Let's not forget about our mission, in case you lost your mind, or had too much time wandering around the human world, the 23rd Prince is disguised, in the human world. This is to test your kindness, faith, and also patience. We will not interfere, or give out any opinion towards the Prince before his decision, as only the Prince himself, will choose his Princess."
Again, Garnelle cleared her throat, "Is everybody clear?"
"Yes, Princess Garnelle." We quickly nodded in unison.
Me, honestly, have no idea at all who the Prince is. We've never seen him before, never even heard his name before, but I've heard from the Vienna palace guards that he is extraordinary looking indeed.
"Now back to the human world! You have only 4 days left, to attempt to impress, or capture the Prince in disguise's heart. I wish you all the best." Garnelle announced, we all turned to our back, and walk towards our unicorn.
"Juniper," I swiftly turned my head when I heard my name, noticing Garnelle walked towards me.
"I suppose you were having a bit of a bad day?" She asked, looking at my attire.
Like how am I going to explain? Oliver got us wandering around school, skipping classes, and we ended up bumping into our class teacher. And yeah, you could guess the rest, detention it was.
I silently nodded.
I silently nodded.
"Everything will be alright, I know that the human world is tough, that's how what we all have went through. Even your mother." Garnelle looked at me with a smile. Tucking some hair behind her ear.
"Thanks Princess Garnelle. I'll try my best." to stay out of trouble I guess.
"Good, now off you go. The Prince might be just around you." She winked. Joseph, her unicorn, landed from the sky and swiftly flew away one Princess Garnelle had sat between its wings.
I sighed, "Moomoo, let's go." Moomoo was sitting lazily with her wings rested beside her body, I walked towards it and lightly pat it's head. I forgot to feed Moomoo, I was rushing. "I'm sorry, let's get back to earth shall me?"
I sighed, "Moomoo, let's go." Moomoo was sitting lazily with her wings rested beside her body, I walked towards it and lightly pat it's head. I forgot to feed Moomoo, I was rushing. "I'm sorry, let's get back to earth shall me?"
I closed my eyes and took off the Veinna necklace. And there I was, back into the human world. Moomoo was laying on my bed, "Let's go get some food shall we?" I grinned and opened the door, Moomoo barked and followed.
"So how did the meeting go?" Mom asked, as I looked inside the cabinet for dog food.
"It was great. I guess." I mumbled, taking a can of Turkey flavoured dog food from the cabinet.
"Did Garnelle mentioned anything or any clue about the Prince?" She sat on the island, right beside the fridge.
"Princess Garnelle just mentioned that he might be just around us. That's all." I opened the can and poured it all over Moomoo's bowl.
"She's right Juni. The Prince might be just around you." Mom mumbled.
"Is there anyone you have in mind that it might be the Prince?" Mom asked, looking right at me.
"Errm." I licked my dried lips.
Let me see, all my life, I've only be friends with Kienna. She's super sweet, and pretty. She lives nearby, just around the corner. I can't talk to her in human world because it's against the rules. Besides Kienne, I have known Oliver for the rest of my life, in the human world of course. He was this little boy with thick black glasses, hazelnut hair and had a petite figure. After a few years later, he had grown taller, his hair is always messy, plastered on his forehead, and he never got rid of the thick black glasses he wore since like forever.
"Adam maybe?" I responded. Adam was the school's basketball leader. He is handsome alright. He is tall. Blonde wavy hair, and a killer smile. Holly was all over him. Maybe she thought that he was the Prince? I don't know.
"Adam? Adam Zachary?" Mom raised her brows, looking a bit disappointed.
"Yea I guess so." just before my mom was able to ask me questions again, the doorbell rang. I quickly walked towards the door and opened it.
"Juni!" He was standing there with a big smile, his hair as messy as always, and also those thick specs above his nose.
"Juni!" He was standing there with a big smile, his hair as messy as always, and also those thick specs above his nose.
"Yes Oliver?" I groaned. Hasn't he got me into enough trouble today?
"Let's go for a bike ride! Around the neighbourhood." He stated as he moved a bit to the right, revealing his lightening blue bike. I stood there and hesitated, should I go? Or should I be searching for the right guy?
"Oliver!" I turned to my right and saw my mom standing right beside me.
"Clair!" Oliver cheerfully called out.
"What are you doing here?" My mom asked, looking at Oliver's bike.
"I came to ask Juni to come with me, to ride around the neighbourhood." He explained.
"Can she go?" He asked, looking as innocent as he could possibly be. Olivier is such a fake ass, he always trick my mom with his naive look that he wears.
"Of course she can go!" After hearing my mom's answer, my eyes widen. What?
At first, it was a slow and peaceful ride. Somehow after that, it became an crazy 'See who's faster' competition. I rode as fast as I could, with Oliver still in front of me. Damn. Like how could he ride so fast? The racing came to an end when Oliver dropped from his bike, when he tripped over a large sized pebble. I instantly stopped and jogged towards him. He was sprawled on the cold hard tar.
"You alright?" I helped him sat up by pulling his shoulder. He let out a soft groan. I looked at his palms, both of it was scratched, his knee was also badly injured, it was bleeding. Ouch.
I looked up at his face and realized his eyes was was trying hard to focus without his specs.
I looked up at his face and realized his eyes was was trying hard to focus without his specs.
"Juni. Juni? Can you help me pick up my specs?" He asked. I searched around and saw it just beside his bike. I placed his specs above his nose as he blinked several times.
"Your knee is bleeding." I quietly said, looking at him with a frown.
He chuckled and lightly pushed my bangs away from my face.
He chuckled and lightly pushed my bangs away from my face.
"It's not a big deal."
"Yes it is." I rolled my eyes, how could this guy still be smiling when he almost killed himself?
I took out a small hanky from my back pocket and wrapped it around his knee. He hissed quite a few times.
I took out a small hanky from my back pocket and wrapped it around his knee. He hissed quite a few times.
"Can you walk?" I pulled him up. Realizing that he couldn't really walk when he put his whole weigh towards my small shoulders, I placed one of his hands on my shoulder, and I wrapped one of my arms on its waist.
"Hey Juni," we started to walk, or I should say to limp, back to his house.
"Yea?" I didn't stop walking, neither did he.
"Why are you always there helping me when I'm in trouble?" he asked, his voice much more calm and deeper now.
"Because you're a selfish and careless 16 year old boy who always disturb me whenever and wherever you are." I gripped harder on his waist, feeling a bit tired from helping him.
"Do you think that I'm a mess?" His question surprised me.
"No, of course not." because you were always there for me too despite of getting me in trouble.
"I'm sorry if I ever annoy you or mistreated you. I mean, I only have you. As a friend." He quietly stated.
"Just a friend?" I purposely sounded a bit angry, just to scare him.
"No, no. A very very good friend." He quickly said.
"Now that's more like it." I smiled, feeling grateful to have someone like him.
"Juni. I love it when you smile like that." I blushed, after hearing what he said.
" Oh oh, look what I've found, Juni blushing after a simple compliment." He teased.
I shot him an annoyed look and he ended up laughing.
I shot him an annoyed look and he ended up laughing.
"I like you Juni, I like you very much."
I laid on my bed, looking at the ceiling with Moomoo laying beside me. After sending Oliver home, I couldn't help thinking about what he said. He likes me? As a friend? A super best friend? Or more than that. He even asked if I was free on Sunday. Was that a date request? Or just a friendly hangout? I sighed. I declined his request because the final meeting will be held on this Sunday. It might sound like a joke, but I'm actually debating whether to attend the meeting, or ditch it, so I could go out with Oliver. I shook my head. What am I trying to do? I shouldn't be breaking any rules. But who do I really like? Who do I care the most? Oliver came floating in my mind. I bit my lip, am I serious? If I didn't get chosen by the Prince, nor if I do, I'd still have to leave earth, I'd still have to return to Vienna. I've heard of stories about the yet to be chosen princess falling in love with a human bean. They end up becoming human, and forever forbidden from Vienna. Will mom be disappointed in me?
"Juni?" A light knock was heard, I quickly sat up and saw mom opening my door.
"Yes mom?" She strutted closer and Sat on the edge of my bed.
"Are you excited for this Sunday?" I have to be honest that she looks more excited than I do.
"Not really," I mumbled, looking down at my oddly painted toenails.
"Why not?" She titled her head, trying to catch my eyes.
"Mom, I don't want you to be disappointed," I looked up and found hers staring right at me.
"Is anything wrong?" She asked, placing her hand on mine.
"I think, I have a crush on a human bean." The words finally came out from my mouth. How long have I been crushing on Oliver? I have no idea.
"Is it Oliver?" She gave me a smirk. I blushed and looked away.
"Dear, it's your choice, if you really love Oliver, just go for it. It's your future, you're life. No matter what choice you make, you'll always be our daughter."
At last, the day had come. Even though I decided to go for the meeting, I have to give Oliver an explanation, before I disappear from earth. I called him up and told him meet me up at my house before 8. I was already ready around 6. My hair tied into a loose side braid. Wearing a beige colour knee length dress. I sighed, holding onto the Veinna necklace, not even ready to leave this world. My heart started to race when it was about 7.30pm, why isn't he here yet? I picked up my phone and dialed his number. No one answered. I cursed under my breath. I threw my phone onto my bed, left and room and ran out of the house with the Vienna necklace still in my hands.
"Juni? Juni!" I didn't have to run far, until I saw Oliver, waving at me with on his bike.
I ran up to him as he got off the bike, and embraced him as hard as I can.
I ran up to him as he got off the bike, and embraced him as hard as I can.
"Juni, is everything alright?" he muttered into my ear.
"I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to see you again." I confessed, after I broke the hug. Oliver stared at me blankly then chucked.
"Doesn't matter If you're willing to see me or not, you're stuck with me forever." He smirked. What is this? I'm not kidding.
"No, Oliver, I-" before I was able to continue, he placed his index finger on my lip.
"Shh." He whispered, he snatched the Vienna necklace from my hands and helped me clung it around my neck.
I was surprised, devastated. Once I'm back to Vienna, I won't be able to see Oliver again.
I was surprised, devastated. Once I'm back to Vienna, I won't be able to see Oliver again.
"Oliver," Was what I managed to say before I close my eyes. It took me several minutes to digest everything. I didn't want to open my eyes, I just want everything back to the way it was.
"Juni, Juniper." Was that Oliver's voice?
"Juni, you can open your eyes now." It was Oliver's! I slowly opened my eyes and saw him standing right in front of me with a smirk plastered on his face. He looked totally different, different in a good way. His hair was gelled up, his specs was gone, making his blue brown orbs stand out.
"Wha- what are you doing here?" I gasped, still taking in his new image.
"Haven't you figured out? It's funny to say this but," he cleared his throat aMr sucked up some air," I am, the 23rd Prince of Vienna." He said it with pride and a fake husky voice.
I was totally taken aback. Is he serious?
I was totally taken aback. Is he serious?
"And now," He held up a flower crown. "I present you, the 23rd Princess of Vienna." He gently placed the flower crown on my head.
He pulled me closer and kissed my forehead, "You look beautiful, very beautiful." He whispered. I smiled as he enveloped me into his arms.
I never felt to relieved, so happy. Oliver, it was Oliver. The Prince was disguised as Oliver.
"Now would you like to take a ride on George?" He asked, I looked up and saw Moomoo, and beside it was a pegasus, flying around the clouds.
"You have a pegasus?" I curiously asked.
"Yea, why? You princesses have unicorns doesn't mean we princes, cannot have a pegasus."
